Okay, so this one takes David from a little shepherd boy all the way to king. The animation honestly looks really nice, and I liked that they gave his mom a bigger part. But man, it's long. Almost two hours for a kids' movie is a lot, and most of the songs didn't stay with me. It's fine for family night, just don't expect The Prince of Egypt.

This movie is a true reminder that faith can give us the courage to face things that seem impossible. Despite being young and facing a giant that everyone else feared, David trusted God and stepped forward. His story reminds me that we may not always have the strength on our own, but we can trust God, keep moving forward, and also not have doubt on what we are capable of if we just take that step of faith
