Privacy Policy

Movie Knight (movie-knight.com) is a property published by Pearl 27, 3400 N 1200 W, Lehi, UT 84043, USA.

Information you give us: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we record your email address, language, consent date and where you signed up. Our contact form collects your name, email, subject and message, plus any optional publication, phone number or deadline you provide. Guide requests include the requested title, language and optional email. If you create an account, we store account and profile details, any profile photo, family preferences, watchlist and contributions you choose to submit.

Information collected automatically: We use Searchable Analytics (the sa script) to understand visits, including pages and page titles viewed, referring pages, campaign information, screen size, browser language, time zone and engagement. Its current script uses a visitor cookie, local storage and session storage to recognize visits and sessions. Requests to our site and service providers also include technical information such as your IP address and browser. Newsletter signup records your browser’s user-agent information.

Cookies and other services: Sign-in sessions and your language preference use browser local storage. We load Google Tag Manager to manage website tags, Google Fonts for typefaces, and YouTube players on pages with trailers; those services receive browser requests and may use their own cookies or similar technology. Contact notifications are sent through Lovable’s email service. Our hosting, database, account authentication and file storage use Lovable Cloud.

Affiliate links: We participate in affiliate programs, including Impact. Our Impact script measures impressions and helps attribute affiliate links. When you click a retailer or streaming link, that partner or affiliate network may use cookies or similar technology to attribute a purchase. We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

We use information to send the newsletter you asked for, respond to messages and guide requests, provide account features you choose, understand and improve the site, and prevent abuse.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it except with service providers that help run the site, such as hosting, database, email, analytics and affiliate networks, or when required by law.

This site gives parents information about movies. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The newsletter is for adults 18 and older. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

You can unsubscribe at any time; contact us to stop newsletter emails or delete your subscription. You can also request access to, correction of or deletion of your information. Depending on your circumstances, laws such as California’s CCPA/CPRA and the EU/UK GDPR may provide additional rights, including portability, restriction of processing and objection. We honor privacy requests regardless of where you live. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Use your browser’s controls to block or delete cookies and clear local storage; this may affect sign-in or saved preferences.

We keep newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We retain other information only as needed to provide services, respond to requests, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Information is processed in the United States. If you visit from another country, its privacy laws may differ from those in the United States.

When we change this policy, we will update the effective date shown above.
