Synopsis

Queen Poppy and Branch make a surprising discovery — there are other Troll worlds beyond their own, and their distinct differences create big clashes between these various tribes. When a mysterious threat puts all of the Trolls across the land in danger, Poppy, Branch, and their band of friends must embark on an epic quest to create harmony among the feuding Trolls to unite them against certain doom.

<em>'Trolls World Tour'</em> is mostly what I expected the original film to be: an uninteresting story meshed with meh music. I, in fact, enjoyed the first flick, though this one I didn't. The all-troll story is a drop-off, who knew the Bergens were the glue that held this together? It is practically a standalone sequel, the writers plucked this story right out of their, er, minds. "Thrash" and "Barb" have discovered thanks to "Poppy" and "Branch" that it's not just rock that makes the music world tick in Troll land. They are not impressed, and so set about on a unification drive that will eliminate just about everything from techno to pop so that it's just their favourite music that prevails.
