Kevin James gets dumped at the altar in Rome and decides to do the honeymoon by himself. I'll be honest, I didn't expect much, but it was sweet. Italy looks amazing and the lady from the coffee shop was lovely. That said, they fall for each other way too fast, a few jokes just didn't land, and you pretty much know how it ends from the start. Nice, easy watch, nothing more.

Solo Mio is a sweet movie tells a romantic comedy story about starting over when life doesn't go according to plan. I liked how Matt's heartbreak in Rome turned into an adventure as he meets new people and begins to see his situation differently. What I enjoyed most was how one stage of a painful life experience doesn't have to be the end of your story. Sometimes, losing what you thought you wanted can open the door to something unexpected. It’s a lighthearted movie with romance, humor, and a good reminder about second chances.

I really enjoyed the film. Kevin James is a riot and the unexpected appearance of the Italian legend himself (not giving a spoiler by naming names, because it was such an unexpected surprise for me) was chef's kiss. I once stumbled onto a concert of his at a public square in front of the Duomo in Milan, and watched the whole concert from the base of a statue. It's an all-time fun memory for me and this film brought back that sense of surprise and delight.
