This movie left a deep impression on me and taught me more than one life lesson. I think it’s incredible that Mully’s biography was brought to the big screen—it was the best idea. This inspiring man impacted so many lives in Sudan, and he deserves for us all to know his story. An incredible movie!
Just watched Mully and I'm still sitting with it. It's about Charles Mulli, a Kenyan man who was abandoned on the street at six, somehow built himself into a wealthy businessman, then gave the whole thing away to take in street kids. Thousands of them. What got me is that the film doesn't pretend his family was okay with it. His wife and kids clearly struggled, and it shows that honestly instead of making him look perfect. Some of the childhood reenactments look a bit cheap and it's short enough that you want more. But not a bad movie. Definitely watch it.
