Call Sign Courage didn't really do it for me. The whole thing just assumes you already agree with Lohmeier, so it never bothers trying to win you over. Nobody in it pushes back on him. Nobody from the other side gets to talk. It's basically one guy telling his side while sad music plays behind him. He's likeable enough, calm, easy to listen to, but that's all the movie has. When he's not talking there's nothing there. And the ending where he gets the big government job is treated like proof he was right all along, which felt lazy to me. Even if you're on his side you should want a better made film than this. It's short and it's watchable and that's about it.
