RecommendedTrusted family reviewersIt holds some charm, but <em>'Big Red'</em> is mostly average. Gilles Payant gives a likeable, if wooden, performance as Rene, while Walter Pidgeon adds a touch of elegance to the film as James. Émile Genest and Janette Bertrand are alright, too.
