Sound of Freedom

Wow, this movie really made me shudder. Above all, because it’s a story based on real events in my country, Ecuador, and it deals with such a sensitive issue: the trafficking of minors. It’s a film that keeps you thinking from start to finish, and I personally loved that, despite the complex subject matter, there were no explicit scenes. Excellent!

This movie hit me hard. It's about saving kids from traffickers, and it's not easy to watch. Jim Caviezel did a great job. Some parts were a bit slow, but I couldn't stop watching. It stayed on my mind for days.

This movie is a true reminder that sometimes we have to step out of our comfort zone to help others. Despite the risks and challenges he faces, Tim Ballard chooses to help vulnerable children and does not give up. His determination reminds me that we all have a part to play in helping those who need us.

Before watching Sound of Freedom, because of what I was reading online, I thought it was a disgusting propaganda piece on the top of being a poorly out together action thriller. But after sitting down and watching it till the end, I became more interested in exploring of the studio's films and seeing what else they have to offer. Because God's children are not for sale: Sound of Freedom is definitely worth a watch.
