RecommendedTrusted family reviewersThe Last Rodeo is a callback to sports movies of the past. It's not perfect by any means, but its a good story with a clean premise that was well executed. There's plenty one can pick apart on the movie, but overall the movie was better than the negatives. Neal McDonough made me root for this old bull rider trying to pay for his grandson's surgery. But the story is very predictable. I could guess almost everything before it happened, and some of the acting around him felt weak. It's nice, just not special.
